MC KINNEY

In the north of Texas, near the town of McKinney, the town of Adriatica Village sprung up, next to Stonebridge Lake. The town is considered a prototype for the most revolutionary concept in the development real-estate. The investor behind these neo-retro villas is American Jeffory Blackard. The villas were made in the style of old Dalmatian houses, with an interior aimed at comfort. Several authentic pieces were brought from Brač, such as bells, and the streets there are named Mediteranska, Dalmatinska, and Istina. Despite their high price, they continue to sell well. Jeffory Blackard doesn’t hide his love for the Dalmatian coast and its architecture. This is why, as he himself said, he built the Adriatica Village, inspired by Supetar on Brač, in honor of our homeland.[1]
