CANBERRA

In Canberra, the Australian capitol, on the 75th anniversary of the Australian Royal Navy (1986), Queen Elizabeth II unveiled the Royal Australian Navy Memorial. The monument was made by an Australian sculptor from Canberra, Ante Dabro, a student from Zagreb, born in Čavoglave, in 1938. Through his work, Dabro has dedicated himself to themes like hope, suffering, spirituality, sexuality, and heroics, and his bronze sculpture can be found in numerous public places and private collections.
